Duties include providing production with all material needed to run a full day’s production based off the production schedule set by the manufacturing leaders. This position is primarily responsible for the drilling of tube used for upper decks and tube room bar. This individual will be measuring, plasma cutting, and as mentioned drilling a variety of tubes. A press operator will be reporting to the team leader to ensure daily goals are being met. Essential Functions - Combination of specified designs and measurements, appropriate component parts, plasma cutting, and drilling of a variety of tubes. - Correctly drill material in accordance with production requirements. - Rotation of positions as necessary in or outside of the sub assembly department. - Assistance in repair work as necessary. - Maintain parts area organized and clean as well as being responsible for labeling and bundling extra parts as needed. - Make sure that scrap metal is not put in the same bin as your regular trash. Trash needs to be separated for it to be picked up. - Parts should not be on the floor for any reason. Racks & shelves must be used to keep parts off the floor. - Ability to read and use a tape measure. - Maintenance of good housekeeping practices throughout the sub-assembly area.
