We are searching for an experienced, senior-level content strategist who is passionate about making instructional content accessible, engaging and easy to use. This role will guide internal content writers, an internal video producer, as well as external contracted RV subject matter experts in developing basic, everyday, consumer-friendly “how-tos” which may take the form of articles, checklists, and video scripts or outlines. To accomplish this, the content strategist will collaborate with a counterpart on the Technical Publications team to identify areas where consumers need additional support understanding how to use, maintain, fix and upgrade their RVs. They will also need to synthesize data from SEO, analytics, consumer research teams, industry sources, and Customer Care in order to prioritize content development and use these insights to communicate to writers and producers how best to speak to consumers in language that they will understand.   To be successful, you will be the advocate for consumers and promote collaboration between technical and creative stakeholders; direct content writers in creating copy that is accessible and educational, consistent and concise; be resourceful and curious when encountering gaps in documentation; and be relentless in your pursuit of correct information to ensure that quality standards remain high. This position will require a broad range of skills including welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing.
