Summary/Objective

The Personal and Professional Development Coach serves to ignite the hearts and minds of every Lippert team member through personal and professional coaching. Reporting to the division’s Leadership Development Director, this role will help execute on global and local Leadership & Culture initiatives by providing consistent presence “on the front lines,” providing 1:1 coaching and group training as directed, and stewarding the “Dream AchieverTM” personal goal achievement coaching program, where the mission is to educate, equip, and empower Lippert team members to live more engaged & intentional lives through personal goal coaching & community connection. Partnering with the Leadership Development Coordinator on their team and HR, they will help serve and support functional leaders in their pursuit of business and culture objectives, helping drive Lippert’s vision of Making Business a Force for Good in the world!

Essential Functions

  1. Schedules and facilitates group and 1:1 personal & professional coaching sessions, coaching toward personal and professional growth using tools such as Leadership Action Plans (LAPs) and Development Action Plans (DAPs)
  2. Delivers personal professional development presentations and trainings (live and pre- corded, in-person and virtually)
  3. Collects data and feedback from coaching and training sessions
  4. Contributes to the growth and development of Lippert team members while promoting the Lippert Core Values and Leader Qualities, advancing the Lippert culture, and accomplishing organizational goals
  5. Spends significant time in facilities/on-site and with team members building relationships and helping cultivate a culture of caring and organizational health
  6. Coaches team members toward a positive mindset, helping them achieve goals by asking engaging, open-ended questions and connecting them with internal and external growth resources
  7. Builds relational trust and influence with leaders and team members, with an emphasis on frontline leaders and team members
  8. Supports all Leadership & Culture initiatives including but not limited to Lippert Cares, Training & Development, the Lippert Academy of Leadership, & Health & Wellbeing
  9. Continues self-development and learning in Leadership & Culture theory and practice, offering developmental relevance to the team and organization

Supervisory Responsibility

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree, in a related field preferred
  2. Previous coaching experience
  3. Minimum of three years professional experience

Additional Education and Experience

  1. Certifications in project management and/or coaching
  2. Manufacturing experience
  3. Bi-lingual (Spanish, French, Burmese)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary

Travel

Up to 40% travel could be expected for this position.
