JOB DESCRIPTION


Summary/Objective

 

As an LCI Technical Trainer, you will be expected to conduct classes, in a professional manner, regarding all LCI products. You will be responsible for building training programs and training aids for existing and new products.  Developing relationships through training with dealers, OEMs, and other LCI teams will be a main function of this position. This is a traveling position.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel, or reach.

Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather that the whole hand as in handling

  • Occasionally exerting up to 50 lbs. of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive information through oral communication

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time salary position and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work/ travel may be required.

 

Travel

Travel would be extensive, requires a minimum of 26 weeks of travel a year.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school education/ GED.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong technical aptitude. Preferably in LCI parts and RV applications.
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to work external organizations (i.e. suppliers, customers, and production personnel).

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous technical experience in the RV Industry
  • Previous training experience
  • Able to interpret descriptions of Coach parts/ equipment and translate those into clear instructions for the audience
  • Demonstrate experience in sequential processing -utilizing multiple software programs

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass EVerify.
