  • Overview

    At Lippert Components, the role of the Business Systems Analyst is critical in the success of our Customer Experience Technologies team in delivering and maintaining technology products which exceed the expectations of our customers.

     

    This is a cross-functional role that will collaborate with engineers, developers, admins, and business users across the organization. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, writing user stories, performing user acceptance testing, and communicating regularly with project team and stakeholders. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

     

    An ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms, ERP systems, and agile project management, and will always have the customer experience top of mind.

     

    Essential Functions

    1. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
    2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
    3. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
    4. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
    5. Performing requirements analysis.
    6. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
    7. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
    8. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
    9. Working closely with customers, end users, technology teams, vendor partners and management.
    10. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
    11. Create wireframes based on requirements and solution for customer facing products.
    12. Performing user acceptance testing.
    13. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
    14. Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
    15. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
    16. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
    17. Managing competing resources and priorities.
    18. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
    19. This role is highly visible. Candidates must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

     

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair. 

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

    This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary. 

     

    Travel 

    Regional travel is expected, up to 30-50%. 

     

    Required Education and Experience

    1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Consulting, Product Development, Business Analysis, and/or Project Management.
    2. Some Salesforce.com consulting, administration, development, or analyst experience. Salesforce certification(s) strongly preferred.
    3. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 5 years of experience in Consulting, Product Development, Business Analysis, or Project Management.
    4. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
    5. Ability to segment LCI’s complex business environment into components allowing issues/tasks to be split up into manageable parts to achieve goals timely and successfully.
    6. Ability to work with multiple LCI teams to leverage ideas and success stories, as well as lessons learned.
    7. Strong requirements gathering and interviewing skills to identify needs of stakeholders/end users and translate their needs into user stories for execution
    8. Prior experience working in an Agile environment. Scrum Master or related experience desired.
    9. A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
